Our first ever Tone Bell Concert, The Augustine Chimers, plays at Augustine House in Ladner. We began our group in February 2015, and it has been a true collaborative effort since its’ inception! The Chimers are an open group, meaning any residents can join and rehearse with us at any time. There is no previous musical experience necessary.

We held our very first public performance on the patio, and the weather was beautiful. The concert was well attended, with residents enjoying ice-cold lemonades and being serenaded by our beautiful bell music. Our set list for the afternoon included, In the Good Old Summertime, Edelweiss, Sunny Side of the Street, and many other popular favourites.

Currently our group is around twelve members strong, with new faces and old faces returning from week to week. We meet weekly and we encourage residents to come and join us at our next rehearsal and see what all the fun is about!
